How does the FlashStrike mechanical acoustic grenade work?

The FlashStrike is a fully mechanical, non-pyrotechnic acoustic sound grenade. Upon impact, it produces a powerful acoustic burst of approximately 115 dB, accompanied by a light flash and a brief trace of smoke. The grenade is powered by standard, easily replaceable 8-ring caps.
